I Want A Life

Do you ever just feel like you're stuck in a rut? Same old thing day after day after day?? We are such creatures of habit (and schedules) around here. When I was without children I was quite spontaneous, but not so much anymore. Not like you can just hop on the plane and go with little ones to consider. Not trying to complain, as I love my life and my children, just looking for others who feel the same. I'm beginning to think what little social life we have now will completley disappear once baby #3 arrives. :o)

I thought someone was posting to make fun of me, lol!!! I know what you mean, tiff. I would love a life, but I always remember that I would not trade my son for the world. He is my life, so I guess that is pretty darn good:) I love him so much! Even his stinky diapers!! My excitement today revolves around going to Babies R Us to buy my counselor a baby shower gift. How lame is that? I don't think Semper could stand to be a housewife, honestly. I think he would be crying in his coffee cup faster than he knows. Maybe you and I should speak in a language we both understand? GAGAGOOGOO. GEE GA

I know what u mean, my life before my baby was going clubin, bars, little get togethers, going to malls or to movies with my bf and friends, hang out in the cafeteria at school, or just simply hang out at home and rent a movie with my bf, NOW im either working or at home with my baby, which i love anyways. I love my baby and miss her so much when im at work and do enjoy spending time with her but every once in a while a get a call from my friend asking if i want to go out, I cant just be like okay and get ready and leave, nope i dont have a babysitter and dont feel comfortable leaving my baby at night with just anyone so i have to say no. I know it wont always be like this. I look forward to babyshowers also cuz i love picking out gifts and i love birthday parties which my baby and I attend atleast 2x a month.

Tiffani, are you saying you're tired of Vanilla ice cream? ;-)

I guess we should be grateful (and I definitely am) that we are able to have this problem. I know i'll terribly miss this "rut" when my kids are all grown up. I just feel like everyday is so routine that after a week of observing my family, anyone would be able to predict our next move. The highlight of my week is usually the chit chat with other parents at any of the various childrens activities we attend. Although i'll miss the baby days like crazy, I can't wait until the kids are all old enough for Disney World and beach vacations. Like I said before though, it's a good problem to have. ;o)

Tiff wants neopolitan ice cream. We all do.

No BBK, if you knew me at all, you'd know my weakness is Chocloate ice cream. ;o)

tiffani~97 days to go!! - August 3

I hate Strawberry ice cream, so Neopolitan wouldn't cut it either. Man, does anybody know me around here?? :o)

E - August 3

I think he is saying that vanilla is boring, or am I reading too much?

E - August 3

Neopolitan signifies variety. Breyer's Neopolitan is the best. Tangent.... Sorry.

E - August 3

Who hates strawberry ice cream???? Tiff, I can't be your e-pal anymore. LMAO!!

tiffani~97 days to go!! - August 3

Me boring? I hope that wasn't the implication or BBK and I will have to duke this one out! I thought Neopolitan was Choc, Van, and Strawberry all in one carton. You can learn a lot from a dummy! :o)

E~ When consuming my bad fats and calories, I insist on leaving the fruits and veggies out of it. If i'm going for dessert, i'm going all the way baby! Bring on the Chocolate!!! :o)

E - August 3

BBK was saying that life is like vanilla ice cream, thus boring. I said that you might try neopolitan ice cream, thus exciting:) Do I need to come over to your house and whoop your tush? LMAO!

I know how you feel. I'm going to be 31 when the baby is born and I still feel like I'm going to totally lose my life. But then I realize I didn't have much of one before I got pregnant. The only thing that's going to suck is not being able to take off whenever we want to and have the money we used to have. I have a dog that I treat like a kid so we don't get to be gone all day long and he goes with a lot so I guess we'll just have another little bundle to take along! No vacations for a while either!

BBK - August 3

Well, Vanilla ice cream is symbolic for the wholesome family life..... better not say more or who knows who may show up?!

Thanks for breaking it down for us slow learners. And no, i'll let my husband do the tush spankings. :o) It's sad, my Mom is coming over to take my daughter to The Penguin Tea Room for lunch (a cute little kid tea party place). My daughters social life is better than mine. I remember when my Mom used to take me out for lunch. :o)
