I was diagnosed with PCOS almost 3 years ago, it was found after a series of hormone blood tests, have your dr specifically test you for hormone imbalances. This should help decide whether you have PCOS. Some women who have PCOS have irregular periods, or don't have periods at all, however I never had irregular periods. Good Luck

I had irregular periods always unless of course when I was on BC. Once off it they went back to being abnormal. Doc sent me for an US as he thought I may have an ovarian cyst on an ovary, I didn't have one but many on both. That is how I was diagnosed with that. I found out at the same time I have bicornuate uterus. Once they got me on some meds to help me ovulate correctly every month I got preg right away. Good luck!!
