Is Decaf Coffee Ok To Drink

I am a coffee FIEND!!! I have kicked the regular and am now consuming organic decaf coffee from a health food store, but I am still concerned (cuz I am NEUROTIC! ha ha ha)... should I cut out decaf too? How much is safe to drink?

yay! organic! - November 26

i think as long as it is a "swiss water" decaf, it shouldn't be a problem.. but coffee is a diaretic, so you need to even out the coffee with your water intake. i am a coffee fiend myself, so i know the feeling... i find a decaf latte or cappucino is always a good option, i never seem to use as much sugar. but i really commend you on choosing organic!!!!

I heard that drinking decaf. is like drinking fermaldahide.

...but "organic" decaf?

that's why i recommend swiss water decaf. it's a non-chemical way of extracting the caffiene from the bean. i believe the use steam. and if it is organic, i would a__sume the company would be consientious enough to use the swiss water method. but looking at the lable is a sure fire way to know for sure. what i would worry about would be using arteficial sweetners such as aspretame and splenda... now that stuff'll kill you!!!!

Hee hee! NOPE!!! No artificial sweeteners for us! :) This decaf thing is pretty much my only vice (...that I'm aware of anyway)! Thanks! :)
