Is My Ob Taking Proper Precautions

Hi everyone! With my first pregnancy, I wound up delivering at 34 weeks. I had preterm labor. They don't know why. I am 27 weeks into my second pregnancy. My OB isn't doing anything different than the first time I was pregnant. In other words, no special precautions or testing. Should I be concerned? Has anyone else been through this?

Every pregnancy is different so you may even go past your due date with this one. Sometimes it is hard to say what caused preterm labor. My sister in law has her baby when she was barely 6 months and they have no idea what caused it. I have a frien who is pregnant and she had her son 6 years ago and he came about a month early and she is pregnant again and at 4 months stared having labor syptoms. They took her off work and told her to take it real easy. She ended up having to get sowed up because the baby just kept trying to come. She is due in March and is still on bed rest. Sooooo if you and the baby are doing ok then your doc is probable thinking you will go full term. I would just take it easy and try not to over due it. If you are really concerned I would talk to your doc and let him no. Stressing yourself out will not help... Good luck to you and your baby.

Wow Tarrieh, I will be 8 weeks tomorrow and I am constantly worrying about m/c and all kinds of stuff, I guess the worrying doesn't go away until the baby is here huh? Well Good luck Tarrieh, Just pray, I have more faith in God than I do in doctors........
