Is Using A Self Tan Safe

i am 24 weeks pregnant with my first baby and if one more person says to me "you look tired" i'll scream! I got a bottle of fake tan to give me a bit of colour, but was later told by my sister (who has a baby) that it isnt safe as the chemicals can get into your blood stream and get to the baby! I doubt whether this is true as we all use moisturiser etc. But now im worried about using it! Please advise, Should i go another 16 weeks with milk bottle arms?

I used it with my first 2 pregnancies, and i'm using it with this one as well. It never even dawned on me that it may be harmful. I doubt it, but it's worth asking the doctor at your next appointment. I just started using Neutrogena Micro Mist Tanning Spray (medium shade), and it is by far the best i've ever used, and i've been using tan in a can for almost 10years. It dries in minutes and goes on even without streaks. It's only $10.00 a bottle at Walmart. :o)
