Lifting During Pregnancy

I run a home daycare with a few toddlers and one of my own, is it safe to be lifting them on a daily basis?

Ask your doctor b/c my doctor said no more than 20 lbs of lifting but it might be different for everyone. In any case, make sure you bend your knees and lift with the strength of your legs and not your waist.

I worked in childcare and stupidly did too much lifting but it didn't affect my baby, i was lifting kids at a time i didn't even know i was pregnant though, when i wasn't pregnant i was always recommended to lift as little as possible, i always thought of my back, change them on a mat on the floor if u can, a change mat i mean. Just lift as little as possible especially before the 12 week mark. its ok to lift them i think as i did all thruout pregnancy until the end but just limit it as much as u can...........i seem to have repeated myself haha, but u know what i mean....
