Low Cervex

Help!!!!!!! - February 1

I am almost 30 weeks, and went to the doctor last weekend because of cramping and pressure in my lower abdomen. They ran some tests and decided I was dehydrated. They gave me an IV and that caused all the other problems, but now my back is killing me, where my kidneys are. I've talked to my doctor about this and they are running more tests to check for an infection, or it might be my kidneys working overtime to catch up. Has anyone else had this problem? The doctor also checked me out and said my cervex was low. He wants me to consider bedrest and wants to see me again on Thursday. Does bedrest actually help. I can't imagine laying around and my job is a little stressful, but not to much. Would it be advisable to be on bedrest. I'm due in April, and that would mess up my plans, but if it is necessary, I will do it.
