OK might be a strange question to be askin..but i was wondering if it would be ok to give my fiance back massages when she is 2 months and a half preg.....would it be ok now if she was layin on her stomach or would that be a bad idea?

I don't think it's much of a problem... I am nine months and occasionally still lay on my stomach. It is more of a comfort thing than anything. If it makes you feel better though, you could always have her straddle a comfy chair and lean forward. Add a few pillows and it can be your personal ma__sage station!

I just had a professional maternity ma__sage and while I was there I asked a few questions. The lady said the object is not to work on pressure points, but to just smooth over the skin to get the blood circulating. There are certain pressure points on the body that correlate with the uterus and they don't want the uterus being stimulated. I think if you give her a nice back ma__sage she will be fine though. The lower back is a huge sore spot for us PG women, so the more you focus on that, the happier your fiance' will be! Also, just have her always drink lots of water when you are done ma__saging her. It helps to flush toxins or lactic acid out of the body more quickly.

You should read about the acupuncture points that induce labor first. I was told that you should go to an experience ma__sage therapist who knows which points to avoid.
