I am 26 weeks pregnant, and am measuring 29 weeks. I really don't look pregnant and have only gained 7lbs. At 22 weeks I had an u/s and the tech said the baby weighed 1lbs. 8oz. I went to a clinic an saw many diff. residents who gave my different measurments. So I swiched, now my Doc. says 29 weeks! I'm scared, even when I was born I weighed only 7lbs. 8oz. please help me...thank you!

I wouldn't worry about it! That sounds just fine. When I was pregnant I was 26 weeks and my daughter measured 29. She was 6lbs 9oz when she was born and my labor was 2 hours long. Don't stress yourself out!

Make sure you have your glucose screen test. Mothers who develop gestational diabetes, if undetected, will have babies that are larger than they should be. Case in point - the woman in Brazil who recentley gave birth to a 16 pound baby. She had GD, undetected. Here is a link about GD: http://www.diabetes.org/gestational-diabetes.jsp

I have a relative who is also in a debate with her doctor over her size and the size of the baby in relation to her number of weeks. I think alot can depend on not just the baby but the fluid around the baby and also your general weight during pregnancy depending on how much you are eating etc.
