My Hands Keep Swelling Up

I am 24 weeks pregnant and went camping for the long weekend. On Sunday morning i noticed my hands were very swollen, to the point my wedding ring was about to cut off circulation. By evening the same night it was much better, but i still couldn't get the ring off. By morning it was gone, but by the time we got home at 7pm, they were swollen again. Yesterday they seemed normal, but today they are swelling again. I also woke up at 2am this morning with flu like symptoms, but no fever. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with the hands swelling. It has been very hot here lately, but i have been keeping up with my liquids and staying out of the direct sun. I am not having any other swelling in my feet or face or anything. I am debating whether or not to go see the doctor today because i did take the day off. I don't have high blood pressure or anything, and my next appointment is next week. Does this sound serious, or can i wait until then?

Go and see your doctor to be sure. I know there is a condition a__sociated with the swelling of hands although I am sorry but I can't remember what it was called right now. You should probably have it checked out. If you don't feel you can go, at least call the hospital and ask to speak to a nurse - I've done that before for a doubt I had and she answered my concerns over the phone so I didn't have to go to the doctor's in the end.

I've been having that problem too due to the heat. My doctor said it's normal but if it becomes consistent, then let her know as it could be something else. She said as long as it just comes and goes it's okay. Lay down and elevate your feet for a while. My fingers and toes and ankles swell a lot now that it's hotter than hell here.
