My Mother Smoked

OK, this could sound like a really silly question. My mother smoked throughout all 9 months of all 6 of her pregnancies (miraculously, without causing health problems). I know that a female fetus forms all of the eggs she will ever have while in the womb. SO, could my mothers smoking affect the health of my growing child (12 weeks). Is there a chance that her smoking could've damaged my eggs. I swear that I do not worry about much, this has just been bothering me. Thank you for any help!

I understand your concern...I'd probably be thinking about it too... lol, I honestly don't KNOW for sure, but I would say that it's probably not a problem =)

it won't affect your child Madison if you are not taking smoke into your own body. please don't worry about your mother's error. if you are that worried about it, take it up with your pract_tioner at your next appointment to ease your mind.
