My Toddler Hit My Stomach

I have three- three year olds ,and I was playing with them last night and my daughter threw her head back full force and knocked the wind out of me! I'm only six weeks and here isn't a lot that can be done, but I was just looking for a little piece of mind. I have already talked to a nurse about it, and she said I should be fine but I was just wondering if anyone else has had this happen.

Just think about how much protection the baby has right now. Don't worry.

Thanks for responding "D". That helps to hear. I've just been such a nervous wreck, and that happening was the last thing I needed.

I was in a car accident at 12 weeks and the baby was fine.

at the beginning of the pregnancy (1st trimester) I slipped on a step, went three feet into the air and landed hard on my back. It definitely took the wind out of me and I was scared. But everyone rea__sured me about how well baby is cushioned in there and they were right. Think about your baby inside a water balloon inside another water ballon. You can punch a water balloon as hard as you want but it will not burst open.

I slipped and fell on my tail bone and felt my whole stomach shoot with pain when I was about 12 weeks. I went and got an ultrasound right away and everything was OK. My doctor told me the baby is well cushioned and not too worry, it takes a lot I guess to hurt the baby. Pregnant women are always hitting their expanding stomach on something it seems.

My six year old jumped on my tummy when I was pregnant last year, and everything turned out o.k.
