Name Help Please

My fiance's last name is so akward (how the heck is awkward spelt?) that I either have to be extra picky and careful in naming our little girl or not even have to consider the last name since itself is so funky. Okay, it's SPRUILL- I'm not even really sure how it's pronounced. Two syllables or one- I don't know, but it rhymes with spool. My last name, which I'll throw in as a second middle name (no hyphen) starts with a CRA- (sounds like ay) but it'll just stay on the birth certificate. Aren't these last names awful together? Can I use an "S" first name with Spruill? Any suggestions? Thanks. Oh, and I'm limited on time here. Thanks.

Squirrel Spruill? Just kidding! How do YOU pronounce it? spru-ill ?

It's okay to use a name that starts with an "s" but it would probably sound awkward if the name ended in an "S". Since the name is not long or really short, you can also probably get away with any length of name... What about Elizabeth, Emily, Charla, Annalise, Ashlynn, Samantha... anyways, good luck! (hope you find out how to say your fiances last name!)

Yeah, it's Spru-ill I guess, or one syllable like sprul, rhymes with spool. Like I said, I'm not sure if it's 1 or 2 syllables. I wanted to name her sesame, but I got over that in like 4secs.

I'm a__suming that your fiance's name is pronounced "Sprool". But you kind of confused me on how you want your name in all this. Anyway, if the baby has his name I would say Emily, Jessica, Hannah. Could you clarify how your name is going to be in this for me? Maybe I could help with a little more names.

Thanks- he doesn't know if it's spru-ill or sprul either. It's definitely oo though. Has anyone heard this last name before? He's from the east coast.

My last name will merely be printed on the birth certificate before his, which will be her last name. We aren't hyphenating.

Why would you even think about marrying someone who you don't even know how the name is pronounced? I would definately find out soon!

M.A. - November 4

What'd you say your name is exactly?

To HMM? - November 4

Who are you?

I think just about any name can go with it, the last name doesn't sound bad it just looks funny.

What I don't know is if it's one or two syllables, which with either pronunciation sounds the same to most people's ears. Go ahead-say them out loud.

I'm married, but I like my name better than his. So we used mine as a second middle name too. You don't even want to know our names. Mine's German, and his is Ukranian. Most people just a__sume that my last is the baby's last. They don't even add his name. Even on the tax forms, they ask for mine, and say his name is invalid. So I think it would be less confusing for all to just have one or the other.
