We have chosen Samuel Ryan for a boy. Is that too old fashioned. And for a girl we had Annika Rach__le or Sophie Rach__le, or Amelia Rach__l, but have been getting turned up noses at them. Are they really that bad?

i think the names are fine but just remember it is not the other that will have that name for thier whole life it is your baby so choose a name that you will think will be good for them for the future don't think about what people think about now when your baby is old enough to care about his or her name we will be old fashioned

I really like Annika! I prefer Ryan Samuel but again...its just my opinion and really, it doesn't matter...only your opinion counts!

I like all the names you choose. Annika will probably be shortened to Anni, so keep that in mind. I like them all though.

hi sophie i'm having a girl in september and were naming her Sydney Brunce Smith!!! we too have gotten many turned up noses but i love the names we've chosen so i don't care what they all think.. i chose Sydney because i think it's pretty, and Brunce because it's my daddys name. (pernounced Bronce) my dad is really bad off with cancer and pnuemonia and lots of other stuff and the only thing he wanted from me was to name my first born after him so i am, to many peoples distaste but i think SCREW 'EM!!! good luck

I like Amelia, it's very cute and uncommon. Samuel is not a favorite of mine, I knew a Samuel when I was a kid and certain images just stick with you forever!
