Sperm can live inside you for up to 3 days, so it's more likely you'll fall pregnant having s_x the day before you ovulate than the day after. Good luck!

I'm with E.... get your hiney off of here and get to humping! LOL The egg lives like 24-48 hours (more likely 24) so get to it baby!! Happy Humping and Fab-O F***ing! LOL And by the way, sperm lives a while, so the last session laid the groundwork for you! :o) Good luck!

Sperm usually survives for 1-5 days. It can live for up to 7 though.

Got the following from a doctor on the ivillage website. It supports the 3 day prior to ovulation timing that I mentioned at the top. "When sperm are processed and maintained under strict laboratory conditions in a nutrient medium, they can remain alive for up to seven days. There is also data suggesting that conception can occur up to seven days after an episode of intercourse, which indicates that a few sperm may survive that long in the woman's body. On average, though, sperm may not typically survive in the woman's fallopian tubes for a week. So, optimal timing for people trying to conceive dictates intercourse one to three days before ovulation." Hope this helps.
