Negative Test 3 Weeks After Ovulation

Has anybody experienced a negative pregnancy 3 weeks after ovulation and still been pregnant? I ovulated on 3/14 and still show negative on 4/6. I'm wondering if it is possible for some women to just not show enough hormone until the 6th or 7th week of pregnancy.

There could be possible that you are not pregnant. A lot of factors could have provented this. I would wait until I miss a period. There are some test (I used early response) that can tell you a couple of days before period is due, I waited until my due date was pa__s. I suspected before that I was and I know that the wait is terrible but just be patient and if it is negative you can have fun trying again. Good luck

Karen, mls has missed her period if she's 3 weeks past ovulation! MLS, I have heard of people getting negative pregnancy tests at 6-7 weeks, I would go get a blood test if you normally have regular periods!

Thanks. I have missed my period. Saturday 4/9 will actually be 2 weeks pa__sed. I was just wondering if anybody had heard of a negative test that far along. It helps to set my mind at ease that you have. We are trying. :-) Also, with my first (we weren't trying) but I didn't find out until week 6. Thank you for your input.

I would go see the doc to see what is happening. I have known women who have irregular periods and their period come 1 month and 2months inbetween and they were not pregnant. Like the other writer said its best to get a blood test if you have regular periods.

Thanks Karen. I went and saw the doctor today. They are doing a blood work up. I still have a negative test. She said I am possibly creating too much progesterone. We'll see.
