Is it possible to ovulate twice in a month. Okay here is my story. Based on the ovulation calender, my ovulation date was supposed to be 11/05. I experience the egghite discharge about a day before or on that date ( dont quite remember). Thinking that it would be safe, I had unprotected s_x on the 6th. However, 3 days after, I noticed eggwhite discharge again (this time, more clear and slippery). Is it possible that I might have ovulated twice?

Hmm! Women often experience several days of fertile mucus. Unprotected s_x the very day after ovulation might be cutting it close. After all, the egg is supposed to be good for 24 hours, and suppose your cycle does not follow the ovulation calendar exactly. Ovulating twice in the same cycle is not normal, though there are said to be cases where fraternal twins have DNA of different fathers.

Thanks for your response. Another thing, i notice this morning that i have blue veins on my b___st. I also searched the forum and failed to see any post concerning blue veins and pregnancy. Could that possible be a sign? My b___st are sore, however that can be disregarded since sore b___st can also be a sign of an approaching period.

More noticeable veins are a sign of pregnancy as the body goes into blood-vessel building mode reaching out for the embryo. A purple tinge in the v____a and even more flushed cheeks are sometimes seen. Your period is not due until Thursday. Let's see if more signs appear (tired, abnormal gut function, more peeing, lotion discharge). You could test first morning pee a week from now with pretty good chance of accuracy. GL!
