I am not sure on that one-but I can tell you about salt-since I have GD I have been looking for healthier ways to eat and cook my food so my husband went and purchased what is called Nu-Salt, it is suppose to be better for you, but my doc said he would rather I have regular salt in proportion because with "fake" salts you dont get the pota__sium.

According to my doctors and "What to Expect When You're Expecting," aspartame (nutrasweet and equal)should be taken in moderation - I mean 2 servings per day. Saccharin (swee-n-low) should not be used at all. Sucralose (Splenda) is believed to be safe and does not need to be limited. And I for one am VERY happy about that!
