I am 31 and my husband Iand I have decided to try. I have a bulginf disc with a lot of pain right now, and am wondering if it will be the same ( b/c I'll be used to the pain) or if it will worsen with pregnancy. We are just worried that we can't concieve b/c I've had endometriosis.

It depends, It might get better with pregnancy, it might get worse. Every person is different. Good luck!

I was also afraid of pregnancy due to spinal problems/instability. I have a herniated disc and a failed fusion in my lower spine and was going in for yet, another surgery and found out I was pregnant. My pain has actually gotten much better. I say this now, as I am only 5 months pregnant and have not started showing yet and have only gained 3 pounds. I am trying to be careful not to gain too much weight, as it can cause increased back pain for the normal person. When you get pregnant you produce what is called Relaxen to help loosen up the ligaments in your body to help carry the baby, and can help with the pain. I was taking some serious pain medicine when I found out I was pregnant and have now decreased it by 95 percent. I have also heard that the labor pains will be easier for me since I have indured such horrible pain already with all the surgeries I have been through and living with chronic pain for so long. I am 30 and have had pain since I was 21. I guess you just have to have a positive mind set to go through something like pregnancy when you are already dealing with chronic pain. I hope all works out well for you.
