Hello, I am concerned because everyone and their mother has been telling me I look pail or sickly! I'm 11 weeks pregnant and sure haven't been on top of the world with nausea and evening sickness and of course it's winter time and my face hasn't seen sunlight since sept. so what's the deal?? Do any of you have any suggestions, so many people are telling me this, that I'm beginning to get concerned!

I hear ya! Everyone has been telling me the same thing so I bought a good bronzer and have been using that. I still don't look great but what can you do.

Have you mentioned this to your Dr.? Could be a sign of anemia. My sister had it quite bad when she was preg. They just gave her iron supplements and she was fine. Baby was fine too.

Yeah, I had my docs appt. today and I completely forgot! I always draw a blank when I'm in there! Do you think they will find anything in my blood work? Will they contact me if my iron is too low? Yea, maybe I should try a bronzer too, still have a while till summer! What kind of bronzer do you use Ashley?

Start writing stuff down now!! lol If you're anything like my best friend and I, you're memory will be toast! I can't remember (lol) how many times I was sitting in my doctors office and drawing a complete blank as to why I was there. Other than the obvious, of course. You remember great as soon as you leave though. My friend calls it "baby brain". Vichy makes a great self-tanner for the face and body.

P is right. Sorry forgot to mention that in my response. My iron is actually extremely low and I've been taking supplements for it (which by the way make you extremly constipated). That was one of the reasons why I was so pale. Also, I've been throwing up throughout my whole pregnancy and it was taking a toll on me. You should really ask your dr to check it out. Are you feeling really fatigued throughout the day? Cause thats a major sign of iron deficency. I started using a bronzer from MAC at first but then noticed it didn't look so natural so I just recently got a bronzer from STILLA makeup. Its much more expensive but its really nice.

Thanks gals! Do you think they'll contact me if it looks too low, or should I give them a call tomorrow to see if my blood work was processed yet? I was even always tired before I got pregnant, but I always blamed it on my job waking up at 4:30 in the morning, but it I just never seemed to feel well rested, no matter how early I would go to bed, so of course the baby has been taking a toll on me and this schedule!! I bet iron is the answer! How long does it take for them to get your blood work back?
