Hi there, I've read that you should avoid chemicals when you're ttc. We just moved into a new house and the inside is being painted. Anyone know if it is okay for me to participate in this or should I try to avoid it? I'm just ttc right now, should O around the 10th-12th this month. Thanks for any input

I wouldn't think it would be too bad if the room is well vented...just make sure that the paint is not lead-based!

i painted during the VERY beginning of my pregnancy and at the very end - my doctor said that as long as you have a well ventilated space that you're working in and not spending 24/7 painting, you will be fine - good luck!

thanks ladies! Our house has an "open" concept, so I guess it should be okay. It's just latex paint, which is less fumey also (fumey? I don't think that's actually a word...). Anyway, thanks again!
