Pg Or Not Would You Test Again

Okay... here's the deal. I had what I thought was my period starting last Sunday (a week ago). But it only lasted 2 days, when it normally lasts 6. Also, it came about 4-5 days early. So, some people suggested that I test, since my temps (I'm a charter) never went below my coverline. They thought it might have been implantation bleeding instead of my period. So, this past Thursday night, I tested. It was positive, but VERY VERY faint! I would have been 13 days past ovulation. It got darker as time went by, but it was only dark enough to show up in a picture after the time limit. On Friday morning, when I woke up, my temp went from 98.4 to 98.7... a good sign. So, I thought I'd test over the weekend. I woke up on Saturday and my temp was up to 99.0!! Highest ever! I went to get a pg test, but the store didn't sell any. I didn't get a chance to go to another store. I figured I'd get one on my way home from work today. Well, yesterday (Sunday) when I woke up, my temp was 99.0 again! I began thinking the test was probably accurate and I was pregnant. This morning, my temp was back down to 98.4. So, what would you ladies do? Would you test again anyway, or just assume that it was a fluke false positive? TIA!!!

Test again, definitely!!!! You don't usually get a positive unless you really are pregnant. I would trust a hpt more than a thermometer. Be sure to update us on your results. Good luck!!! :o)

I'd test again. A nurse said that if you get a temp above 98, chances are you've already ovulated, so 98.4 still seems pretty high to be a "pre-ovulation" temp. Good luck!

Hey... just an update: I didn't have a chance to buy a pg test yesterday, so I used an opk I had in my cabinet. It was stark white negative. Thanks for all your responses. I guess the test I took on Thursday was faulty.
