Question About Nuva Ring

hi, I've been using the Nuva ring for 6 days. If I take it out today, will I ovulate this month?

No telling. Are the side effects getting to you? Most hormone regimes (including pregnancy lol) require several months before your body gets accustomed and settles down. Good luck!

nope, no side effects; we were going to wait 3 months before trying for a 2nd baby, cause that's how long it would take us to save a certain amount of money, but our tax refund is that amount, so we can start trying now.

Usually when you take out the ring, you will get your period. Not sure how the 6 days in your system will change things, though. However, I seemed to have great regular periods once I went off it. "Months" is not necessarily accurate. So maybe you can just shoot for next month? You should also try charting, taking prenantals, being healthy...etc. and keep in mind not everyone gets pregnant when they want to.

thanks for the advice, trixiebee; we're still going to wait the 3 months. LIke I said before, this will be baby #2. Baby #1 took 7 months to conceive, so I know about the waiting game.

ps - they say it can take 3 months for the hormones to straighten out and regulate things. You do not have to wait 3 months for medical reasons. (just financial ones.... good for you!)
