Question About Ovulation Predictor Kits Opk

Okay, so this month is the first time I have used an ovulation predictor sticks. I knew that the week of the 7th is when I was to ovulate. (Actually by the mycycle.com site I was to ovulate on the 7th) So on Tuesday I checked and didn't have two very strong lines, but they were darker that usual, so no baby dancing that night. On Wed the 5th however the lines were extremely dark and I had the beginnings of ewcm. So we baby danced that night, on Thursday the line had faded some and still had the ewcm. But we didn't bd that night, but again on Friday when I did the opk the line had faded more but we did baby dance that night. My question is this, when you do get the clear strong double purple lines (I used the first response tests) does that mean you should bd that night or the next. As I understand it, the lines mean you have a strong LH hormone and should ovulated within the the next 24 -48 hours. So if we bd the day of the reading, skipped a day then bd again, do you think I was in that window? Or should I have bd the following night after the strong double line? This is confusing to me as I am new to the testing such as this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -L

It is best to bd a few days before ovulation and 1 or 2 days after to cover your basis. I think from the first positve you get, light or dark would mean you will ovulate in 24 to 48 hours, you should start having s_x then and continue for a few days.
