Questions About Prgesterone Late Periods Advice

I am well over 2 weeks late for af, but still bfn last time I tested(about a week ago). I was wondering if anyone knew about progesterone. Would low levels of progesterone cause a false negative? It is hard for me to pin point O b/c these are my first few months ttc and I am just starting to cycle again after depo. There were a few large spikes, but none when I would've expected to O. I know that I could be off timing b/c of the depo and I have to be ovulationg at some point to get af right? I am going to test again and if I get another bfn I was considering getting a progesterone supplement. Can anyone advise me on their experience using something like that and how it works? I'm just not sure. I have sore br___ts, unusually bad back pain, tired, feeling rather sensitive down there and lots of cm in the past week. In any other case it would be clear but my situation is off due to the depo. My cycles could be pretty random which leaves room for mistakes. Any advice appreciated!

Any advice on this would be very appreciated as my situation is not completely normal and I am trying to decide what to make of this. Has anyone experienced this situation?

I don't think low progesterone would cause a false negative. My understanding is that as progesterone levels drop, estrogen levels rise and your period shows up. Low progesterone could inhibit implantation if your uterine lining isn't building up enough. I would ask your doctor about testing your progesterone levels (there are specific days in your cycle when it's good to test.) I had low progesterone and got pg the month I went on a supplement (after trying for 12 months). I started the supplement the day after ovulation and stayed on it the whole first trimester. Good luck to you!

I know how you feel.I have very irregular AFs. I would have one any where between 14 days and 3 months. Take another test Like first response they pick up the least amount of hormones. The signs could be due to a pregnancy but also due to you wanting to be pregnant

Yes!!! Absolutely I do. But I am not...AF came. It seems way more like a regular period this time. Hopefully if it doesn't come again I will get my bfp. I have been trying not to stress and researching what supplements(natural) I can take to stimulte O. I got these organic womens vitamins and af cam 4 days after I started taking them.

My doctor put me on Clomid to help. This is my 2nd cycle and I am hoping for a BFP in the next two weeks.
