I have developed two red dots on my arms in the past two days. I believe they could be ring-worm. What should I do??? I am currently 6 1/2 months pregnant

First find out if it's ringworm or not. Then find out if you can use fungicides during pregnancy. I think regular athletes foot meds work on ringworm, but you should check with your doctor. Have you been around a kitten?

My hubby just got ringworm and has been using Lotrimin AF which you can buy at the store. I, of course, was freaking out because I was afraid I would get it from him...but after 48 hours of use, they say its not contagious. I'm not sure if you can use the Lotrimin or not..but certainly the pharmacist would know..and definitely your doctor or nurse. If you do have it..another thing we've found that gets rid of it quickly is tea tree oil. When he's in the shower, he just puts it on, lets it sit for 2 mins or so, then rinses off...then uses antibacterial soap. I swear it gets rid of it sooo fast.. then apply the Lotrimin. I don't think the tea tree oil is harmful for you to use as i've been using it myself and i'm fine (i'm 5 1/2 months now).

ringworms look like rashes and when u scratch them they flake. u probably have cherry angiomas. which is normal in pregnancy the high hormones cause this.. don't worry or go see ur ob.
