Reliability Of Medical Pregnancy Sites

Okay, I'm just really curious how reliable everything is. There are so many medical websites that say so much about pregnancy then often you come to message boards and find out so many women experience the exact opposite of "textbook pregnancies." For example, they say you can't have a period while being pregnant, yet so many here claim you can. Another example is Implantation bleeding, they say it occurs 6-12 days past ovulation. Again, so many women claim IB so much later than that. I'm just curious, how reliable is all this info out here????

The best way is to check with your doctor. Books are accurate in generalizations, but not experience. People in the forums might have experiences, but lack the knowledge to be SURE of what is going on with their body. I've heard of "late implantation" which later turned out to have been a miscarriage. Take heed of all advice and go to your doctor with any questions.

my clinic said whatever i read take it with caution. Even if someone says its their experience you dont know if what they are telling is true. Get you doc to recommend a site for you (thats what i did) and it helped my questions. Also go to the store and sit at chapers and read a preggy book . they are helpful also.
