Renting A Fetal Doppler

I've been toying with the idea of renting a fetal doppler, but my husband thinks that it would be a waste of money. I feel like it would help to calm my nerves, especially since I experienced a miscarriage last year and worry about this pregnancy. I'm just about to enter my twelfth week, so this would be a good time to get the doppler. Have any of you rented them, or do you plan to? If you have experience with them, do you think that it's worth the $30 a month?

i did at 14 weeks. The doppler has been my best friend.... the greatest. cost me around $20 a month. Now that I am 24 weeks and the baby moves all day long I dont need to use it. So I will be returning soon.I had a rocky start so it really calmed my nerves. Plus everyone in your house will be able to hear the heartbeat as well. Dont panic if you cant hear it at 12 weeks.... I could not hear it myself until after 14 weeks and the doctor couldnt hear it until 16 weeks.
