I created this forum due to my obsession with concieveing twins/ singleton I have done lots of research over the past vew months and have had some experience in the medical field with some of the problems we face on here. I would like to be able to answer your questions and I have my own theory on how to have twins and will be using myself as the main experiment. You are welcome to join my twin making process for I have some great advice stay tuned I will be posting some later! Welcome!

OK here are some of the things I will be doing and there are studies to back them all up I can give you websites if you would like them B6 100mg per day- increases luteal phase pre-nantal vitamins daily- healthy baby Guifenesin 400mg 2 x daily- thins out cervical mucus to help sperm get to the egg start this 5 days before you ovulate and take it up to 2 days after ovulation only the kind that has one active ingredient I use walgreens brand it says Mucus Relief on the front it is in a white bottle withblack writing and has only the Guifenesin in it take a full gla__s of water with it to Clomid 50mg- helps you ovulate and can increase chances of twins around 10% baby asprin 81mg daily can be used but in some women cause more harm then good check with your doc on this one I will not be using it Most of all milk, red meat animal products increase chances of twins up to 20% with Clomid / and animal products your chances of twins are pretty good For the milk products I will be using starting CD 1 which was yesterday I drink at least 12oz milk and have a low fat yogurt milk shake with 8 oz of milk at least one serving of red meat and cheese on anything it can go on I will do this until I ovulate I am taking 50mg of clomid this is my first month the doc suggests to take it right before bed I am only trying 50 because the higher doses are not good for the uterine linning so only take higher doses if prescribed and 50 if not it has been proven that higher doses are not better unless you don't ovulate on the lower doses you do have a higher chance of twins if you take it earlier this I got from an RE, so I am taking it days 2-6, 1-5 may not be good there isn't enough research well I will continue this chat later have a good day

Hi schar! I'm really want twins, but we aren't going to ttc until next May. I'm taking Vitex, and I've heard alot of things saying it won't work, but moms that have treid it say it does work. I am also taking B-6 calcium, vitamin C, e prim rose, prenatal vitamin and folic acid. When we get alittle closer to ttc date I will start Mucinex. I just wanted to say good luck and double baby dust to y'all!!

schar - March 29

same to you justins baby*** make sure you don't take clomid with vitex they counteract eachother thanks Sarah35**

I'm not sure why I wandered in here but I'm bored and your post looked interesting ;) I read it all and just wanted to add that you might want to double check info on milk/dairy products. I saw a homeopathic doctor and talked to some nutritionists in a local health food store and all of them explained that milk can actually inhibit fertility (I can't remember if it is ALL milk or just the low fat varieties--it might be the pasteurized but I'm not sure) -- I didn't pay much attention because I don't like drinking milk anyways and take calcium supplements. What I did get from it is that the milk we drink contains hormones most likely I'm guessing from the cows the milk comes from (farmers treat cows with horomones, etc.) and this messes with our body's natural hormonal balance in many ways. Studies have shown that areas where there is high milk consumption have lower fertility/birth rates. Just something to keep in mind.....

put in the yahoo search engine twins / milk and you will see a site food consumer dot org and my RE friend says he has noticed it has helped his patients I guess it depends I use 1% and fat free but thanks for the info

Bryandi - March 29

I second that Esmerelda....I just found out that my friends sister got hired on as a nurse.......just a nurse not a respiratory therapist and she is making 65,000 starting pay!!!!.. that is amazing for where I live. There is also a desperate need for people in the medical field here anyway. I had heard about the red meat and dairy too. I mostly vegetarian normally have been for the past 6 years (only eat fish) but have started eating hamburger and beef products in order to increase my chances (man it is gross too) It is tough to go from only eating fish to adding such a heavy flavored meat to my diet! I don't like milk either and have to take viactive to get my calcium. I couldn't force myself to chug down a gla__s of milk if I tried. Good luck to everyone.

schar - March 29

Bryandi try ice cream or cheese may help

I'm not taking clomid, I'm not infertile, I have 2 other children, and clomid only increases the chance of twins like 10% so I decide to just try the Vitex. **schar- I read the other thread, and I'm really sorry you miscarried, no one deserves that. I'm praying for you all! Double baby dust!

schar - March 29

thanks. Though someone takes clomid it doesn't mean your infertile I only have a luteal phase defect though I wasn't actually diagnosed I am taking clomid cause it fixes it I can get pg easily it's just I need progesterone clomid is to increase my chances of having a baby sooner
