Is anyone around 20 wks? And if so how often do you feel the baby kicking?

I didn't feel anything until 21 weeks. Now, 2 weeks later, he kicks me all the time. :D

When you feel it, Where does it come from? Your lower abdomen or higher?

I was really surprised, I feel him VERY low, almost below my bump. He kicks me right on my bladder too as everytime he moves I have to pee, lol. I was really surprised how low he kicks as I started showing early and my bump is really high. I can't help but wonder when he will kick higher. This is my first pregnancy so I felt him late at 21 weeks, but it was really obvious that it was due to something moving in there. While it does feel a bit like gas or a big bubble moving, it doesn't hurt or anything. He moves most after I eat. I can also feel him more if I am laying down or if I am sitting and lean forward to pick something up. It's pretty cool. My scan was at 21 weeks as well and most of his movements I could not feel. But once or twice during the scan I felt him kick and could see on the scan it was when he really stretched out his feet. It was pretty neat. :D

Jessica it depends on where the baby is laying if the baby is laying low then they'll kick you low but sometimes the baby will be in your rib cage and so it kicks high. usually around the middle where your belly b___ton is that area you can tell where the baby is if you feel where the head is.

The only place I ever feel him kick is realy low. Maybe it's because it's still so soon. And I too feel him the most after I eat or when Im leaning forward. I love it....

Is anyone else having a boy? If so I am wondering if any of you were sick in the first trimester.

Bonnie - September 29

I am having a boy. My first 12 weeks were hell. I was nauseated 24 hours a day with no breaks. I had been wanting a baby for years and I actually got to the point where I didn't think I could do it. My 12 week scan was so neat to see it gave me some renewed hope and between weeks 12-14 my nausea had completely gone away practically overnight. This second trimester has been fabulous! Hardly any issues at all (though I'm still tired a lot). I dunno if that has anything to do with him being a boy or not. I think that's an old wives tale.

Well it's kind of funny. I had the same exact problems.. I was nauseated for about 15 wks and than it was gone. I too felt like I would never have another one. But than as fast as the nausea left, My mind changed in the second trimester. Now I am 20 wks and never happier....
