In many caribbean countries, it is thought that if your hair grows you are having a boy. If it doesn't grow or you begin to lose some hair, then you are having a girl. Is there any truth to this myth.

Nope, it's an old wive's tale. Pretty much the only way to tell with much accuracy is the ultrasound, and even that is wrong sometimes. My hair grew a lot with my daughter and I didn't notice any hair growth with my son. Any "gender prediction" test outside of ultrasound will have a 50/50 chance of being right.

There is absolutely no truth, im having a boy and my hair isnt growing at all, its falling out everywhere

I think that old wive's tale must be backwards cause I'm having a boy as well and my hair is growing soooo slow. I only have to shave about once a week now!

I'd like to say that your question depends greatly on whether you are growing a moustache and a beard longer than 6 inches LOL Don't take that the wrong way and don't give up on a little bit of myth either , it helps bring together the magic and miracle of birth and besides I knew a couple who decided not to have someone witch their new property for a well for religious reasons and guess what happened ...... an experienced driller drilled everywhere to finally find 10 quarts/litres per day after drilling down 1500 FT. Myth isn't always myth and nowadays all wells are witched before drilling even thought it is not considered science .

Yep -- wives tale -- 50/50 chance of being correct. :)
