Should I Change My Doctor

I'm 15 weeks pregned and had two doctor's appointments so far. What seems weird to me is that i haven't actually seen the doctor yet only a nurse. She keeps telling me that's normal procedure in that office but it seems odd to me. When i was pregned last time i saw a doctor from the begining of the process not only the nurse. I know nurses are fully prepared too but it just seems odd to me. I requested a visit with the doctor for my next visit and they reluctanly gave me one. Should i look into changing doctors or this is normal? How am i suppose to trust my delivery to a doctor that i haven't even seen yet? I also remember that the doctor from my first delivery measuring my belly and checking my sugar levels in every visit. And she would let me know everything was going ok. Now i feel a little lost because i don't know if i'm being rude asking about things other doctor used to do.. i just don't know. i doesn't seem right to me. am i over reacting?

I am in my 11th week with first pregnancy and have seen my doctor at every visit (even the first to take the test). He has had me take a urine sample and checked the heartbeat both times. I would consider changing doctors. He is obviously billing for these visits. At my office, the nurses are great but most of my questions they tell me to address with the doctor. It seems quite strange that you haven't seen a doctor at 15 weeks! Good luck!

coming from an ob nurse, this is pore care. The physician should see you even if its only for a second to just review your chart and answer questions
