I am so tired and it seems like doing housework is the never ending story...cleaning and washing, dishes, washing and folding the laundry and all that other shit..that by the time you get it done and are able to sit down for one minute...guess what! It's time to do it all over again. And I'm tired from this pregnancy...wwwaaahhhh

Can I join this one, I am sooooo sick of the people in my house who can't pick up after themselves. It's really p__sin me off. Like geez how hard is it to even do something simple like put your own darn dish away or close a cupboard. I sympathize with you Lisa.

i would like to join this one as well. i live in a house with 8 people during the week and 10 on weekends. because i am pregnate and don't work they believe i am here to do their laundry and clean up after them. which i am not i am having some complications with my pregnancy i don't need them adding to it. i feel like they just won't stop with this many people here i do at least 3 loads of dish washer a day and then more by hand. i am so tired!!!

pull me away from here - September 11

I need a life ... I've been on here so long I actually know everybody on this thread . I must be out of my skull .

To "I want a Wife"; yeah I was thinking that when I'd read your thread before, lol. To "julie"; yes I swear my hunny and children think my name is MAID. I even went as far as to write MAID on my forhead one day with my eyeliner. They just a__sume that because I am a SAHM that I will just do everything. Well last weekend I held a "conference" and continued to tell the lazy a__ses that I was no longer going to do everything. I said you guys all work and when you come home from whether it be school or work your job is done, well my never seems to be, but from now on I am "done" work at 6:30 unless your bleeding, dying, or sick because I can't keep up. So far its kinda working but we'll see how long that lasts. TTYS.

I want a wife too...

i guess that i should explain that the other people who live here are my fiances family and friends and boyfriends and new wifes kids and ect... i am not here to clean up after them and when things don't get done my fiances father threatens to kick us out. so i push and keep doing it. i don't mind cleaning but when they just don't put any effort into helping it just doesn't work for me. example my fiances sister goes to the bar everynight so she gets home when i am in bed i will have done all the kitchen and no dishes will be left but when i wake up there pots and pans that fill the sink because she was drunk and went on a eating spree. what i don't understand is why they can bend over and put their d__n plates in the dish washer its right there but no i guess thats for me to do. p.s sorry for venting.

Holy julie with my hormones those people would be dead or wishing they were, I wouldn't be able to put up with that b.s., sorry your feeling obligated and pushed to do it. I hope your situation changes soon for oyur benifit (sp?).

thank you. it's nice to hear other people see it from my point of view i am actually having to go back to the doctors now on monday because i am starting to get the shakes and i can't stop them. so it is actually getting harder to do these chores. i hate the hormones thing somethings i just burst out into tears for no reason i actually laugh while i cry its kind of odd. when i get my days where it seems to be all i do is cry my fiance tells me to stay in bed and ignor everyone its hard but i listen those are the odd days they are the great days.

So...when you're soon to be father-in-law feels that you don't pull your weight in the house he threatens to kick you and your hubby out? While you're pregnant? If I got up in the morning and saw that after Bar Girl came home I would be livid. I'd probably bang the pots next to her hungover head and ask her how she likes it... Sounds like father-in-law needs a wake up call.

Yikes - September 11

This is crazy you guys are being used in the worst way I know this because my mother died because of it . If they only knew repeat if they only knew .... You're not playing God you are God and you know how lost they would be without you . I'll bet they're all nervous about what would happen if their maid left . Secretly they all like what you do and nothing will change them but they sure hope they can have their cake and eat it too .

thank you again. right now is my relaxing time.so i get the computor and i can vent. tomorrow is just another day. i am actually moving out of here at the end of the month i am moving to alberta but the thing is i am going to live in a tent for a month because my appartment won't be ready. so i guess that i have actually made the decision that living in a tent is better then here i guess it is pretty bad. i never actually realized how bad it is here till now. i mean i "b___h" about it never really thought about it.yep moving is the only way to go.

Lisa - September 11

Well...my husband is not bad really. He leaves things around the house and my main pet peeve with him is putting things "next to" the garbage and not actually putting them "in" the garbage. I have two dogs as well and so I clean a lot more as I don't want the apartment to look or smell like I have two dogs; so I clean the floors a lot and bathe them once a week and all that comes with having dogs. I'm just venting because sometimes I get so lazy I just don't want to do anything at all... i'm hormonal.

i don't mean to intude or sound rude but may i ask how old some of you are? because i am only 18 and i just really haven't spoken to anyone about this and i never did because i didn't want to sound like just another teenager complaining about doing chores.

Moving out west huh? Where are you moving too? Calgary, Edmonton, near the parks? I love vacationing out West; there is Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, skip over to Radium for the hot springs. My husband is from Alberta so we used to go there every year...nothing like a -40 Calgary winter!

I'm 29
