Do you like this name? I'm expecting my second child (a boy) and I would like to honor my Irish heritage. My daughter's named Tallulah Ryann. What's a nice middle name for Sinead? I want something Irish. What about Aydan, Cork (my great grandmother was from Cork), Ireland, Paddy, Riley, Colin?

What are your Irish family surnames? Is Ryann one? Are there any others? My sister did the surnames at middle names and it sounds nice.

I like Aydan. I'm thinking of that as my girl name. Connor as the boy name. My grandmother is from Cork as well (Macroom to be exact).

my family name is MacDowd and my maiden name is Foyle. Does Sinéad Cork sound too weird for my boy?

My opinion (for what it's worth): Cork does sound a bit odd.

Isn't Sinead a girl's name? Isn't it the Irish equivalent of Jane? Sorry if I'm wrong. Just wanted to make sure you checked it out. How about Seamus or Sean?

I think Sinead sounds like a girl name too but it must be from the singer that makes me think that. Sinead Foyle does sound cute though.
