What exactly are skin tags? I've read in some books that pregnant women can get them. Do they go away after you give birth, or are you stuck with them.

Skin tags are tiny little growths of skin. They are colorless, completely harmless, and if you touch them, they're kind of floppy. I developed 2 of them on my belly b___ton when I got pregnant, but as my belly has expanded, they have dried up and dropped off! Gross! I also have some tiny ones on my neck, which I'm guessing won't go away. Just ask your doctor about them, because they are easy to remove if they bother you. Weird things happen to your skin when your pregnant. I've got some new moles as well, which I'm planning to get checked out next week, because you can't be too careful.

My granny has them on her face. They make me want to puke. They have hair coming out of them. I want to pull them off.

I got one on my back and one on my neck with my last pregnancy and had them removed after his birth.

Um, no actually. Those aren't skin tags. They don't grow hair, just like you don't grow up.
