In the first trimester does it make an difference to baby which way I sleep (on back/side/front etc) or does it only matter later on when baby is a bit bigger?

I would like to know the answer to this question too! I always sleep on my front, could it harm the embryo? I'm 6-7 weeks.

i dont think it matters in the first trimester....later in the pregnancy it is best to sleep on your left side

hi ladies, I forgot where I read this, but I read that it is better to sleep on your left side because you let the blood circulate more..I am sorry that is all I can remember. I am going to try to find it again and then show you, but for sure I know it was better to sleep to your left....

Does anyone know if it is dangerous to sleep on your back in last weeks og pregnancy?

I've read that it is not a good idea to sllep on your back. You put pressure on the vena cava which is a major artery. It was also mentioned that if you do lay on you back and interfere with the artery, you will feel nauseous before any harm can be done. You will know a long time before it hurts your baby in any case.
