Hi everyone... I am 8 weeks pregnant, and i am a smoker, just found out and trying to stop now... Is this bad for the baby even at 8 weeks old.. i am going to stop its just hard, i will just have to go Cold Turkey and just stop...

Yes, smoking is harmful to the, especially so early in development. See "Nicotine and Pregnancy" in the Possible Complications section.

Stop ALL tobacco use, including chew. Whatever you put in your body, your baby eventually will get as well. Smoking causes low birth weight, can cause you to miscarry, can cause asthma in the baby, and other complications. See your doctor for help in quiting. Good Luck!

do a little pot. It will make you feel better. trust me, I did pot thru my whole pregnancy. great stuff

YOu should just quit cold turkey. You are not only harming yourself but your baby as well. I hope that you are able to just give it up! Also pot is not the answer!!!! Congrats!! GOD BLESS!!!!!!!

people say that it's harmful and they are right but i know plently of women that smoked ciggs and weed throughtout there pregnancy and they have smart healthly babies but try to quit for ur babies sake but don't stress about it.
