I am about 5 wks. pregnant. I've been trying to do everything right. ( I had a miscarriage in July) Well, lastnight my husband wanted to have s_x, I was a little bit leary because I didn't want anything to happen but we did anyways. when we were done, I went to the bathroom and there was a VERY small speck of blood on the paper...Well I got nervous and then went to the bathroom every 5 minutes to check myself and after that there was nothing...I woke up this morning and went to the bathroom and again a very very tiny speck of blood was on the paper.. I am very scared, I do not want to have another miscarriage..has this ever happened to anyone after they had s_x or anything and if so, what was the outcome of your pregnancy? Thank You.

I think you should call your OB and let them give your their best advice. Based on your previous miscarriage, I can totally understand why you're so nervous about this, that's why I think you should seek an expert opinion. I've read on here several times this same thing, and it's usually been said that the spotting is from the highly sensitive cervix, which is commmonly irritated during s_x when you're pregnant.

Hi Jessica, I understand you are worried because of what happened last time (I also had a m/c in Oct). But it is common to have a small amount of blood after having s_x. Your cervix & pelvic are very sensitive at this time and so s_x can cause a small amount of bleeding. Even if you go to the Dr. for a pelvic exam there is a chance that you'd bleed a small amount. So you have nothing to worry about right now. However, if your bleeding does not stop or there is more of it you should call or go see your doctor. Hope this helps...
