Sore Ribs

Hi, I'm 11 weeks pregnant but I feel so much further along than that! This is my second pregnancy and I really don't ever remember feeling quite so uncomfortable the first time around. I am constantly noticing aches and pains that I didn't think would show up until much later in my pregnancy. For now its the dull achey feeling in the lower portion of my rib cage, almost feels bruised . Stretching helps somewhat, but only for a few moments then it comes back again. Also ailing me are the most unpleasant odors coming from my lower area...strong and almost like raw meat!! anyone else? I've been back and forth with my OB on this and she says I'm fine...no infection...no yeast...that it's normal but, again I don't remember any of this with my first pregnancy!! Can anyone relate to this?

I can, this is my second pregnancy as well. my daughter is 22 months old. All sorts of things hurt and ache that didn't with my first, or at least mot this early. I am also already in maternity clothes and am only 6 weeks and 3 days! I feel HUGE! Last night I had a hard time sleeping because I couldn't get comfortable. I was so achey and felt like everything was stretching. I haven't noticed any smells coming from 'down there', but I hear it can be normal. My mom told me that I could expect a completely new set of symptoms with a second child... she was right! I think it also may have something to do with the fact that we have another child to chase around throught the day, and last time we could rest when we needed to. I am constantly hiking up stairs to change a diaper(working on the potty training thing), playing ball on the floor, lifting the kid in and out of the car seat, and just exerting myself more in general because I have to. I am a pregnant mommy and I can't get around it. My friend Julie told me that your second pregnancy is the longest pregnancy on record, it will seem like forever. I am starting to believe her. Good luck to both of us!
