My partner and me both work full-time. I justed a job as an assistant in an office and my partner is a rough carpenter. I am 4 mths pregnant and only been working for this job for 2 mths. My boss wants to keep me on but wants me to come back after one month of having my baby and I really want to stay home and take care of my baby. I have a great support system. My family is willing to do everything to help. MY mom said she will take care of the baby if I decide to go back to work. My partner on the other hand say's I can stay home but we will be surviving pay check by pay check and not have alot to say. Plus he has been and will continue working two jobs to support us. I feel real bad that he is working so hard, but so will I and I'm afraid that I won't be able to cope.

This is a very hard decision to make. I am a stay-at-home mom and my husband and I have had to make sacrafices to make this possible. Like, if I worked our income would be doubled and we would have much more financial stability. We really want to buy a house, but right now we rent because we only have one income and it is hard to qualify for a home loan with just my husbands income. You have to decide what your priorities are. You can stay home with your child and make it, if you really want to. We have all we need, and we are happy. Sure, my husband works very hard to support us, but we would not have it any other way. I love raising my children, seeing their first smile, their first step and hearing their first word. I would not trade being a stay-at-home mom for anything!
