Spotting In Early Pregnancy

I am 32 years old and in the 5 week of my first pregnancy. My first dr. appt. is on Tuesday. I just started spotting today and am concerned. It's kind of brown/pinkish. Being Saturday, my dr. office is not open so I cannot get this checked out. I know they say you can bleed after intercourse, but has been 3 days since last intercourse. Should I be concerned about this spotting?

Yes you should be concerned. I was doing the same thing and went to the doctor and lost my baby

Look everyone's different. I had some very light spotting at 4 wks and again at about 5. I'm now 13 weeks. Though it's never something to ignore it can be normal. I've heard of women who've full on bled and went on to have healthy babies. So tell your dr. but try to stay calm. Chances are everything will be just fine :) Good luck!

I wouldn't be tooo fearfull if you are not having painful cramps, too... but you can see your doctor of course.

oops... I didn't realize that this post was two months old... I had the website saved on an old link and just read the first one on top without looking at the dates. Hope everything was ok for you Rachel.
