Stomach Cramps-pg47

I am starting my 9th week today, and have had cramping for four weeks now. Sometimes dull and low across my abdomen; sometimes a sharp little pinch like a running cramp on one side that goes away quickly. My also subside during sleep, and start up again when I am active. (Do I make them worse when I'm aware of them and monitoring them?) I get less worried as the weeks go by, but sometimes it does freak me out and I go to the bathroom to check for the obligatory miscarriage blood! Luckily, so far so good!

I am not trying to alarm you, but sharp pains on one side CAN be sign of an ectopic pregnancy. As the cramping has been present for 4 weeks now, you should call your midwife and let her know and she'll decide whether to take a look or whether what you are experiencing is completely normal. But it is ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry.

I'm having the same cramps but I've heard this are normal. I've read that you can get tested and if you not only feels this cramps but start to bleed to go to the hospital or call your doctor. Only your doctor can give you the peace of mind you are searching.
