Hi I was just wondering, when they do an u/s and say that the baby is measuring a certain age, is it gestational age or from your lmp? I had a missed m/c and a d&c, and I have horrible second thoughts. What if I had waited longer, etc> Well I was 11wks and the baby was measuring 81/2 - 9wks. But no hb.. Just wondering how they measure the baby. Thanks

It is from LMP. For example, I had my 18 week u/s a day early, so my picture says GA 17w6d.... 17 weeks, 6 days. Gestational age on u/s photos is from LMP.

Thank you, I just keep having so many thoughts and doubt what I did having the d&c. So in my mind i know I did what I had to do but in my heart, I keep questioning it. But thank you m. I feel better.

So sorry for your situation! I completely missed that part when I first read your post. I understand those fears and doubts. If there was no heartbeat, put your doubts to rest. I believe you did the right thing. Work on healing your heart and trying again when you are physically and mentally ready. Take care of yourself!!
