Hey guys. Just thought I would start a new thread since the others are getting waaaay outta control. I think it is really sad what is happening to this forum - I only started coming here about 4 weeks ago when I found out for sure I was pregnant to look for support and answers and now it has turned into an all out insult war - not that I blame anyone in particular (ahm - nancy)... So anyway, here is a new thread for us to continue on. Just thought I would let you guys know I went to the Dr today and everything was perfect, good strong HB, still due 10/2 and am about 9.5 weeks along. I was worried b/c my symptoms were fading, but Dr say just placenta doing it's thang so I am soo happy. The "bean" is growing every time!! It's crazy to know that there is a life inside of me, growing and it's little heart is beating and it's just an amazing feeling.....

congratulations!! That is great and this forum is getting crazy with all the insults! It's getting old but I am happy that you are 9.5 wks along when did you find out you were pregnant?

D - March 2

It is absolutely amazing to me too... I'm 7w4d with my first, (other a m/c so early I barely knew I was pregnant) and it is hard for me to wrap my mind around the fact that there's this itty bitty little heart beating somewhere in there! Its sort of surreal!

Congradulations on your new bay

When I was 5 weeks, but I tell you, I knew before then. I don't know why, I was thinking maybe it was just wishful thinking, but when my period didn't come (and I am VERY regular) it was like, "yea, I knew it" and then the test was just to convince the "old man" that it was true. This board should be about women enjoying eachother's company, not insulting people and trying to cause a stir. Are you pregnant or ttc? If you are pregnant, how far along are you?

good for you missy!!! it is a wonderful feeling to know there is a life inside you-just wait until you feel that first kick!!! well i heard that the dollar store tests were quite sensitive so i sent my poor husband out in a snowstorm last night to go and pick one up for me...he couldnt find it in the store and asked the lady..he said she laughed at him for trying to buy one at the dollar store!!!! so i broke down and bought another $12 one (an ept) only to get another negative!!!(my 3rd negative test in a month) i was upset...looks like ill be starting clomid next week after all....

Missy - March 2

Rose - I used the Target brand test and also the Walgreens brand....they seem to be pretty sensitive. Sorry to hear about your problems ttc, but hold onto the hope - if you are a believer, pray, and as my mom would say "Let go and Let God". Your little miracle will come soon ****BABY DUST TO YOU***** To Leyla - thank you, I saw what you tried to do on the other thread, let's hope this one stays about babies To D - I know what you mean, have you had your U/S yet?? How are you feeling??

rose - March 2

thank you missy!!! i knew i should have just waited because i know the dr will test me before prescribing meds...its just that i have almost all the signs(except sore b___sts-which was always my "definate sign") maybe your body just act similar to pregnancy when your not ovulating...missy, is this your first??

Missy - I'm doing ok. I had my second u/s yesterday because of some brown spotting and cramping (the cramping is going away, thankfully!) It just looks like a fuzzy little blob with a heart beating in the middle! The nausea has been miserable - I've taken to sipping ginger ale a good part of the day, it seems to help. I don't know if genetics plays a part in it, but my mom was really sick with both of us....... oh yes, I used the Walmart brand HPT, I don't know how sensitive it is, but it gave me a positive quickly and didn't cost all that much!

Last time i went to see the Dr. my hubby brought a small tape recorder to record the baby's heart beat. I down loaded it on the computer and listen to it quiet often. It gives me goos bumps everytime I hear it...there are no words to describe the feeling of when you hear that heart beating. Congrats to you Missy, D, moe...and all the best to you rose.

AWESOME!!!! Congrats Missy!!!! I'm so happy for you!

Hey, tara, that's a great idea! I might have to try that with my next visit! Don't know if we'll be able to hear it yet, but its worth a try!

I have been bumbed that this site has gotten so out of control. Missy, thanks for starting this thread. I am in the beginning of my 11th week. I had some light pink discharge when I wiped yesterday, but no pains, and it is gone today. Do any of you get this? I think everything is fine, I'm just a little concerned.

Rachel* - March 2

Faith, how far along are you?
