can anyone recommend a good toddler forum? i'm having major bed wetting problems with my 4 year old....she's been staying dry for a long time until she recently started wetting the bed every night...we cut off her liquids about 2 hours prior to her bed time and she still wets the bed..i really don't want to go back to pull ups..i don't know what to do...i wonder if this has to do with the pregnancy...does anyone else have this problem?

Hi sye, i have a two yr old so no i do not have that problem , but as a child i did the same thing and my mom took me to the doctor to find out i had a bladder infection which also effect my kiddneys, so i would recommend taking her to the doctor. hope this helps.

My daughter has that problem sometimes. I usually let her pick between pullups and panties to sleep in, and keep a plastic mattress cover (and pillowcase cover) on her bed, and make sure we have extra sheets. There's another forum I go to that has a toddler/big kid section, maybe someone there has some good advice. http://www.forumshost.net/forums/index.php?mforum=family (remove any dashes)

i have a plastic cover on the bed too...and about the bladder infection, wouldn't there be any symptoms?

I'm not sure about the bladder infection, but my son's pediatrician said it can be a genetic thing, too.

Did she used to wake up in the middle of the night by herself when she had to go? I would try getting her up in the middle of the night again every few hours. She may just be going through a period when she's dreaming she's on the potty and not waking up. Whatever you do, stay away from the pull ups. She will only lapse that way. You could send the message it's okay to wet herself at night because she knows the pull up is there. When my daughter, who had stopped wetting the bed, started again for a little while, I just kept getting her up. That got her back on track and she's been fine (she's 7 now) ever since. Good luck.
