Hello ladies, I'm seven months pregnant and still in collge. I have to wake up every morning at six thirty so my fiance can have time to take me to school and get to work on time. I find myself falling to sleep in class and can't stand it. I know i shouldn't drink coffee but today i couldn't help it but get some. Is that bad and is there an alternate thing i can do to keep me from being so tired lately???

My doctor said it's ok to have a little caffine. I drink 1 - 2 cups of coffee a day. I'm 22 weeks and so far so good. Do you eat chocolate? That has caffine in it also. I NEED coffee in the morning.

Most dr.s agree that one or two cups a day is not going to do anthing harmful to your baby. I drank one cup a day through most of my first pregnancy and gave birth to a gorgeous healthy baby who is now an intelligent, happy, healthy toddler. Now, in this pregnancy I am drinking a cup a day, because I could not cope otherwise. Also, try buying 1/2 caffeinated beans or drinks. They trick your body into thinking it is getting the full amount, but in reality, it is only half.

Well this has been my first cup of coffee since i've been pregnant... I do eat chocolate, it's my weakness and so easy to get ahold of when on the go.

I was also told that 3 cups of caffinated drinks a day is the max you should have. That inclued pop & chocolate. Did you know that an apple has the same effect as a cup of coffee and it's also healthier, so try an apple every morning & see it that helps if you're worried about the caffiene.
