Trying To Have A Kid

Well to make a long story semi-short. I am the BF in the relationship and we are trying to have a kid. But there is complications. When she got her first period at the age of 12 she didn't have another one for months. Now she can go years at a time without having a menstrual cycle. She has visited the doctor and he checked her out and has no idea. He's never seen a women go over a year without a cycle. She does have them but we never know when. It could be a month, a day, a year or even more. Something that I personally have picked up on is that she has a lot of qualities that a man has. She doesn't really like to cuddle often and has more hair than average. So I was thinking perhaps it has something to do with her estrogen levels? I'm not sure the doctor performed that test or not but he said her insides were fine. On a side note when we do things for a few days afterwords she says her lower stomach hurts.. My last GF said that as well. So I'm thinking that has to do with me. But just incase..

Look up Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). My sister'n law has it and has those symptoms. Women with this usually need help to conceive. If her symptoms match have her take this info to the fertility specialist. Her doctor is definately missing something.

I completely agree with pgagain. Get a different doctor have the testing for PCOS. Her testosterone may be too high.

PCOS, polycystic ovarian syndrome. Symptoms include, weight gain, facial hair, thick hair on arms, sometimes hair on back or stomach, acne, moodiness, and irregular periods. She can have some or all the symptoms. Have her get her hormone levels checked and make sure she tells her Dr. she is concerned about pcos.
