Tubal Ligation

Has anyone ever heard if tubal ligation is covered by medicaid after the baby comes? I looked it up on the net, but can't seem to find the answer for S.C. Thanks!

Yes, it is covered. You have to sign a form for it at least 30 days before you have it done, saying you aren't being coerced, that you know it's permanent, etc...If you think about it, it's cheaper for medicaid to pay for a tubal than another baby. I had mine done and I'm happy about it, but I see so many people posting here and other forums, who have changed their minds and are really hoping that by some miracle they'll get pregnant, or saving up for a reversal. Just be sure you really want it before you have it done.
