I am 8 weeks pregnant and for the past few days, I have been getting really bad headaches. Can I take any tylenol or something similar to help with the headache? I am drinking plenty of water but this doesn't seem to help. Please let me know what I can take.

Tylenol is really the best thing that you can take. I am 11 weeks and I have been getting headaches for the past 3 weeks. I take 1 tylenol a day and it seems to be okay. I only take them about 2 or 3 times a week.

Tylenol is perfectly fine to take during pregnancy. Just limit it to under 6 per day.

One other thing that may help is to drink a small amount of caffeine. It helps ease the headaches too.

or you can drink a coke or a coffe for headaches and stomachaches sp? it works most of the time.

Tylenol is fine to take, and so is the small amount of caffine that Kelly K suggested, that helps especially if you were a coffee drinker and have suddenly quite all together. I used to also get really bad sinus headaches and those nasal sparys helped with my headaches too - also messages :o) very relaxing.

Tylenol is perfectly fine for your headaches, Sandy. However I was told to stay clear of Extra Strength, and just stick to Regular Strength. Your doctor might say different, call him if you're not sure.

Extra strenght is still safe. My doc just gave me a list of meds I can take and that one was on there. Tylenol isn't helping my headaches so she suggested I try extra strenght. Yes, sometimes caffeine will help too. I've noticed if I drink a pop that it will relieve the headache.
