Ultrasound Question

I had my ultrasound done. The baby is doing great. However, the technician said the baby's left kidney looked smaller than the right one. Other than this, everything looks fine. I have another ultrasound in a couple of weeks. Has anybody come across this ? what can this mean? My doc said they will follow up with another ultrasound to know for sure. My first baby was completely normal. I am a little worried. Help..

My problem is a little different at 19 weeks and 5 days I had my u/s and was informed later that both my babies kidney's are to large, not by much they were suppose to be less than 4 mm but where both 5 mm. I will be having a repeat u/s at 30 weeks and when the baby is born it will have a u/s of its kidney's 72 hours after its born

this is the most common issue that arises from ultrasounds. 9 times out of 10, the problem clears itself. When the baby is a little more mature, they will do the u/s again, and it will most likely be normal. I know of 3 girls close to me that have had the same issue. Good luck!
